The Tottenham Hotspur academy product has only appeared eight times for Sheffield Wednesday.

The Sheffield Wednesday manager, Jos Luhukay, has explained why he has not been playing the Owls’ Tottenham Hostpur loanee, Josh Onomah.
Onomah is expected to return to the Wednesday side at Swansea on Saturday, six weeks after his last start, against Norwich.
The Tottenham academy product has played just a minute of football since then, but looks set to profit from Barry Bannan’s two-match suspension.
Asked about Onomah’s lack of action on Friday, Luhukay explained via the official Sheffield Wednesday Facebook page: “He was not in his best form in the period that be played.

“His last game was Norwich (a 4-0 home defeat), it was not a happy game for the whole team, but also not for Josh.
“But he’s a young player, he is 21 years, and we hope that he can bring positive performances for Sheffield Wednesday in the next weeks and months.”

Onomah enjoyed a bright start to his Hillsborough career, creating two goals in his first four outings.
The England Under-21 international is due to spend the rest of the season at Sheffield Wednesday, and it is unclear if Tottenham inserted a January recall clause into the deal.
Onomah has played 32 times for Tottenham, and another 37 while on loan to Aston Villa last season.
Can Onomah turn around his Owls career In Bannan’s absence?
