The 33-year-old USA international, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, had to be substituted in the first minute of injury time of the first half.
QPR’s Head of Medical Services, Dr Imtiaz Ahmad, has told the club’s official website that Cameron has damaged ankle ligaments, and it seems that the 33-year-old will be on the sidelines for a while.
Former QPR chairman Fernandes is not happy with the development on Cameron, and has criticised the referees on Twitter for not taking any action against the Leeds player who committed the foul on Cameron.
QPR will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in London in the Championship.
Why has nothing been done to the leeds player who fouled Cameron badly after the whistle had gone. Clearly shown on TV. Disappointed. What do refs do?— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) December 14, 2018
