Tony Fernandes has reacted on Twitter to the injury suffered by Queens Park Rangers star Geoff Cameron during the match against Leeds United last weekend.

Cameron suffered an ankle injury on the stroke of half time during QPR’s 2-1 defeat to Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Championship last Saturday afternoon.

The 33-year-old USA international, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, had to be substituted in the first minute of injury time of the first half.

QPR’s Head of Medical Services, Dr Imtiaz Ahmad, has told the club’s official website that Cameron has damaged ankle ligaments, and it seems that the 33-year-old will be on the sidelines for a while.

Former QPR chairman Fernandes is not happy with the development on Cameron, and has criticised the referees on Twitter for not taking any action against the Leeds player who committed the foul on Cameron.
