HITC Sport understands a number of Football League clubs are tracking St Johnstone star Blair Alston.

Championship side Rotherham and League One duo Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury Town are chasing in-form St Johnstone midfielder Blair Alston, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Versatile midfielder Alston has been in fine form in recent weeks for St Johnstone after recovering from injury.
The skilful midfielder has scored four goals in nine Scottish Premiership games so far this season, including a stunning effort in last weekend's win at Aberdeen.
Alston's impressive form has not gone unnoticed among clubs south of the border with scouts from English clubs making regular trips to Perth to check on the goal-scoring midfielder.

Rotherham are looking to add to their squad in the January transfer window as they look to secure survival in the Championship, while Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury also need to strengthen their midfield options as they look to avoid a relegation dogfight in League One.
Alston's current contract at St Johnstone expires at the end of the season and although they have an option to extend it, his suitors know he could be available for a bargain fee in the January transfer window.
Alston joined St Johnstone from Falkirk in 2016 and he has gone on to make more than 80 appearances for the club since his arrival.
