Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic’s progress in the Europa League seems to have pleased Brighton and Hove Albion defender Josh Kerr and Chris Sutton.
Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season.
Celtic have booked their place in the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season despite losing their final group match.
The Hoops suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of RB Salzburg at Celtic Park in Group B on Thursday evening.
The Scottish Premiership giants, though, still managed to finish second in the group and have booked their place in the knockout rounds.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the progress for the Hoops, and so has 20-year-old Brighton and Hove Albion central defender Josh Kerr, who left the Glasgow giants for the Premier League club in the summer of 2017.
.@btsportfootball Rosenborg drawing in Germany is one of my favourite things after Salzburg outclass Celtic… Celtic deserved to qualify bottom line— Chris Sutton (@chris_sutton73) December 13, 2018

Celtic have a good team, but it is going to be hard for the Glasgow giants to go all the way in the Europa League, given that there are brilliant sides such as Bayer Leverkusen, Arsenal, Chelsea, Napoli and Sevilla.
