Tottenham have been continuously linked with Sassuolo star Berardi.

Sassuolo attacker Domenico Berardi will reportedly be allowed to leave the Italian side if their price tag of £31million is met in the January transfer window - and Tottenham have never had a better chance to land the Italy international.
CalcioMercato claimed earlier in the week that Berardi, 24, will be allowed to leave for the eight-figure offer, despite an excellent start to the season that has seen him have a hand in eight goals in 15 outings.
He has scored four of those, as well as creating another four. He has captained Sassuolo seven times this season, and at 24 he has already surpassed 200 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A side.
A five-time Italy international, Berardi has an impeccable ratio of being involved in goals in his 207 Sassuolo appearances, scoring 68 times and creating another 49. It means he is involved in a goal less than every two games.
TalkSport reported, as per Corriere Dello Sport, in the summer that Spurs remained interested in Berardi, though nothing was made of it and it remains to be seen if the north Londoners want to sign Berardi.
But with his price tag now reportedly made available in the public domain, Spurs and a whole host of other clubs will surely be tempted to match the figure and lure him away from Sassuolo.

At £31million, Berardi is a bargain. He boasts speed, skill, an unwavering eye for goal but mostly leadership and loyalty that stands out for a player of his age.
Spurs have options in the final third, in the form of Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and more. But Moussa Sissoko has been converted into a central midfielder, leaving perhaps a gap open.
Berardi has to be the man considered for that position - especially now Spurs have the best chance of signing Berardi in years.
