Dutch side helped Tottenham reach the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

A few weeks ago it looked like PSV Eindhoven had ended Tottenham’s hopes of Champions League progression.
The Dutch side held Spurs to a 1-1 draw in Eindhoven after scoring a late goal.
Now capping a remarkable turnaround, PSV have helped Tottenham clinch a place in the last 16.
After the game in Holland, Tottenham beat PSV and Inter in successive home matches.

Last night PSV held Inter to a draw at the San Siro, meaning Tottenham’s draw away to Barcelona was enough for them to progress to the knockout rounds.
PSV’s social media team sent Tottenham a message on Twitter, noting their own good deed.
Tottenham have now reached the knockout round in the last two seasons in the Champions League and will reap the financial reward.
Even better, they will now get another chance to host a game in their new stadium, if it is ready in time.
