Some Sheffield Wednesday supporters believe that Keiren Westwood’s inclusion for their under-23 side today is a sign that Jos Luhukay is set for the exit.
Wednesday’s development side are due to face Crewe later today, with Westwood set to be involved.
The Republic of Ireland international had previously been frozen out complete by Luhukay.
And Owls fans think that his involvement again could point to Luhukay’s departure.
just confirm that Jos has gone now, He certainly has looking at that line up— Dan (@swfcdan1867) December 10, 2018
Hopefully this is a sign a D Taxi is on its way to pick up Jos and drop him off at the airport.— Stephen Gerech (@StevieG0v0) December 10, 2018
Finally hoping this is the start of him playing in the 1st team! Think DC has had enough and told him straight to play our best— Devan (@Green_Leaf1992) December 10, 2018
Either Jos has gone or DC has "been advised."— Mike (@13Mikeyb) December 10, 2018
It's either match fitness for sale or new manager. Seriously hope it's the latter.— Laird Nicholas Shepherd of Dunans (@Nshepherd01Nick) December 10, 2018
So there has either been a big u-turn by Jos Luhukay here, or Luhukay has gone. Westwood hasn't played at all since the first pre-season game at Lincoln in July. https://t.co/oBd1rpledb— Dale Johnson (@DaleJohnsonESPN) December 10, 2018

Wednesday fans have been frustrated with Luhukay’s persistent refusal to pick Westwood this season, with Cameron Dawson favoured.
Dawson is regarded as a bright, young talent, but he hasn’t proven to be as reliable as Westwood.
The Owls stopper made an error at the weekend, as Wednesday drew 2-2 with Rotherham United.
During that match Owls fans were heard chanting against Luhukay, with the Dutch boss’s future now looking very doubtful.
