Leeds United and Aston Villa are now being linked with the Newcastle United goalkeeper as they look to address their problems there.

The Newcastle United goalkeeper, Karl Darlow, is a £4 million target for Leeds United and Aston Villa, according to the Sun.
Both clubs have experienced problems in goal this season, with injury ending Jamal Blackman’s loan spell at Leeds and summer signings Orjan Nyland and Andre Moreira struggling to impress for Villa.
And it is claimed the pair could try to take advantage of Newcastle’s abundant options in Darlow’s position, which also include Martin Dubravka, Rob Elliot and Freddie Woodman – another player linked with the Whites.
The Sun states that Darlow is desperate for games ahead of his injury return, which is scheduled for before the New Year.
But the newspaper adds that whether or not the Newcastle manager, Rafa Benitez, will sanction the 28-year-old’s sale remains to be seen.

Darlow was on Aston Villa’s books as a youngster and played under the Villans boss, Dean Smith at Walsall.
Both Leeds – whose only senior goalkeeper is the relatively inexperienced Bailey Peacock-Farrell – and Villa have also been credited with interest in Burnley’s Tom Heaton.
