Dele Alli scored in Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Leicester City at the weekend.
Former Arsenal striker Wright made the comments about Alli following the England international midfielder’s performance against Leicester City in the Premier League at the weekend.
The 22-year-old midfielder scored Tottenham’s second goal in their 2-0 victory over Leicester away from home at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Alli found the net in the 58th minute - his 50th goal for Tottenham in all competitions, and Arsenal legend Wright was impressed.
Football.London quotes Wright as saying about Alli: "It was a very mature performance from him seeing as Eriksen and Kane didn’t start, he was that creative midfielder and supporting Lucas Moura. Dele is coming back to somewhere near his best and what we know he’s capable of doing.”

Alli is one of the best young players in Europe, and the midfielder is an important figure in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
The former Milton Keynes Dons star has made eight starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far the season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Alli will be a key player for Tottenham against Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.
