Sheffield Wednesday drew with Rotherham United on Saturday.
Nuhiu featured for Wednesday in the Championship game against Rotherham at the Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 29-year-old striker started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 2-2 draw.
The former Rapid Wien striker struggled to make an impact during the match and also missed a good chance late on.
According to WhoScored, Nuhiu took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 65.9%, won 12 headers, made five clearances, and played one key pass.
The draw with Rotherham means that Wednesday are now 17th in the Championship table with 24 points from 21 matches, six points above the relegation zone.
The Owls will return to action next weekend when they take on Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Championship.
Wednesday fans were not impressed with the performance of Nuhiu and have criticised the striker on Twitter.
Below are some of the best comments:
if contract issues are contributing to issues, call players out to waive them. Sure they would prefer to play now. Alternatively if all down to Jos then he is a total fraud. He is rotating same old shit. Not him alone but I die a little more everytime I see Nuhiu in team. #swfc— Lee South (@SWFCSouthy) December 9, 2018
The reality is that he’s had pretty much the same group of players at his disposal since he was appointed, yet he still doesn’t know his best 11, best formation and he still thinks Nuhiu is good enough for the Championship. #JosOut #swfc— Claire Peart (@DonnyOwlClaire) December 8, 2018
No suprises then Dom. Never been a footballer, why we persevere with him is beyond most sane people.— Mike (@Mike_theowl) December 8, 2018
