According to a report in The Sun, Liverpool are willing to sell Marko Grujic for £4.5 million.

Grujic joined Hertha Berlin in Germany on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old midfielder signed a new contract with the Reds in the summer of 2018 before moving to Hertha on loan.

According to The Sun, the Serbia international’s current deal with Liverpool runs out in 2020, and the Premier League club are willing to sell the youngster for £4.5m.

No future at Liverpool?

Grujic joined Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5.1 million.

The 22-year-old has struggled to break into the Reds’ first team, and has had loan spells at Red Star and Cardiff City.

If Liverpool are reportedly willing to sell Grujic at a loss, then it suggests that the 22-year-old does not have a future at Anfield.

Competition for places in the Liverpool midfield is fierce, and it is hard to see how the Serbia international will be able to break into Jurgen Klopp’s team.
