Former Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce is reportedly on the radar of Reading.

Steve Bruce is without a managerial job at the moment, having parted company with Aston Villa in October 2018.
Bruce guided Villa to the Championship playoff final last season, but the former Manchester United central defender struggled in the opening weeks of the 2018-19 campaign.
Many Villa fans were not happy with the style of football that the team were playing under Bruce, whose successor at Villa Park – Dean Smith – has galvanised the side.
Villa supporters, though, may not have seen the last of Bruce, who is being linked with the vacant managerial role at Championship rivals Reading.
According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 22:17, Thursday, December 6, 2018), Bruce will be offered the Reading managerial role.

Paul Clement has been dismissed as the boss of the Royals, and Bruce will reportedly be offer the chance to replace the former Derby County boss.
Reading will take on Aston Villa at the Madejski Stadium in the Championship on February 2, 2019, and perhaps Bruce will be in the dugout of the Royals trying to take all three points off his former club.
