Everton have been linked with Porto defender Militao.
Eder Militao's agent has told Portuguese outfit O Jogo that he is more than happy at FC Porto after joining them in the summer from Sao Paulo, despite reports suggesting Everton are keen.
The Record claim Everton are rivalling Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window for the rock-solid centre-back, who has become a Brazil international since joining Porto in the summer.
Everton signed Kurt Zouma from Chelsea and Yerry Mina from Barcelona in the summer to strengthen their options in central defence, while Michael Keane has significantly improved his form from last season.
But it seems that Everton are still keen on adding to their options at centre-back and powerhouse Militao is said to be on Marco Silva's shortlist - but Ulisses Jorge, his agent, has stated he is happy at Porto.
"All these clubs already had interest in Eder when he was at Sao Paulo. Since the player moved to FC Porto, nobody came to me," Jorge said. "Eder is very calm, he is happy at Porto and he is not thinking about anything other than Porto."
Still only 20 years of age, Militao has surpassed expectation at Porto since his £3.5million move to the club in the summer and is already one of the first names on the team sheet. He even scored in the Champions League against Schalke.
Brazilian outlet UOL claimed back in September that Porto had a £17million asking price for Militao, which is a fee more than affordable to free-spending Everton under the ownership of Farhad Moshiri.
