Ibrox Stadium of Rangers
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 30 points from 15 matches.
The Gers are a point behind current league leaders Kilmarnock, who have played a game more.
Gerrard’s side are level on points with bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 14 matches.
Stoke City midfielder Adam - who started his professional club football career at Rangers and recently hinted to Sky Sports that he is open to joining the Gers in the January transfer window - believes that in the end, Rangers and Celtic will be two sides standing for the Scottish Premiership title.
The Scottish Sun quotes Adam as saying: “Celtic are inconsistent. We can’t forget about Aberdeen, Hearts…but at the end of the season it’ll be about the two Glasgow clubs.”
Old Firm title challenge
Kilmarnock are doing well at the moment, but Celtic remain the favourites for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Rangers, though, have going strong under manager Gerrard, and the Ibrox faithful will be confident of maintaining their title challenge until the very end.
Adam joined Stoke from Liverpool in the summer of 2012 for a transfer fee reported by The Independent to be worth £4 million.
