Glasgow Rangers' reserves ran out 5-0 winners, with Andrew Dallas stealing most of the headlines for the Ibrox side.
Peter Lovenkrands has taken to Twitter to laud Rangers' reserve side after they stormed to a 5-0 win over Kilmarnock on Monday. And while the Gers coach praised all of the goalscorers, he also singled out midfielder Cammy Palmer for his performance in the victory.
Graeme Murty's men maintained the good feeling that exists at Ibrox following the first-team's win at the weekend which has sent Steven Gerrard's side to the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Murty was able to pick a strong side against Killie. The defence included of Borna Barisic, Nikola Katic and Lee Wallace, while several of the youngsters who must be on the fringes of Gerrard's thoughts also featured.
And Rangers handled the favourites tag superbly. Jordan Houston put the Light Blues 1-0 up inside two minutes before Dapo Mebude doubled the lead before the half-hour.
At the break, it was 4-0 with Andrew Dallas scoring twice. The young striker would then complete his hat-trick midway through the second-half to perhaps give Gerrard a nudge.
And after the game, Lovenkrands took to social media to laud the Rangers squad. As well as the goalscorers, Palmer's display was praised by the coach as the Gers' youngsters now prepare for a game against Rapid Vienna.
Here is Lovenkrands' tweet following the win...
