Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have won the Scottish League Cup.

Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s win against Aberdeen this afternoon.

Celtic have defeated Aberdeen 1-0 at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the final of the Scottish League Cup.

Ryan Christie scored the only goal of the final in the fourth minute of first-half injury time.

Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for the Hoops.

Sutton has congratulated Celtic on their success, and has also raved about 23-year-old midfielder Christie, who was arguably the best player in the final.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, Celtic had 52% of the possession, took 17 shots of which seven were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Aberdeen had 48% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
