Sheffield Wednesday travel to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Sheffield Wednesday halted their rotten run of form with a 1-0 win against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.

The performance was, however, far from convincing, and tougher opposition awaits in the shape of Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

The Wednesday manager, Jos Luhukay, is forced into one change at Ewood Park with Ashley Baker suspended. And the Dutchman has already confirmed that the right-back’s place will go to Liam Palmer.

But there could be changes elsewhere, too, with dizziness forcing Steven Fletcher off against Bolton, while the below-par performances of Matt Penney and Marco Matias in that game could lead to subs’ bench returns.

Either Atdhe Nuhiu or Lucas Joao would be favourites for Fletcher’s place, with the eyes of Morgan Fox and either Fernando Forestieri – who remains short of match fitness – or Joao on those potentially vacated by Penney and Matias.

Sheffield Wednesday’s only league clean sheets this season have been achieved with Tom Lees, Michael Hector and Jordan Thorniley playing, and Luhukay all but confirmed after Tuesday’s game that the trio will keep their places.

This is how HITC Sport suspects the Owls will look against Blackburn…
