According to El Intransigente, Atlanta United attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron wants to move to either Newcastle United or West Ham United, not Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal.

It has been reported that Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham all are interested in signing Almiron from Atlanta in the January transfer window.

The Major League Soccer outfit reportedly want $30 million (£23.5m) as transfer fees to part company with the 24-year-old, who is claimed to be earning $2m (£1.57m) per year as salary.

El Intransigente has further reported that the attacking midfielder wants to join either Newcastle or West Ham – and not Tottenham or Arsenal – as he would get more playing time at the Magpies or at the Hammers.

Brilliant footballer

Almiron is one of the best attacking midfielders in MLS and has been playing well for Atlanta this season.

The 24-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 36 MLS games for Gerardo Martino’s side this season, according to WhoScored.

The Paraguay international attacking midfielder would be a very good signing for any club in the Premier League.
