Spurs kept their Champions League hopes alive with a narrow win over Inter Milan.

Tottenham Hotspur kept their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League from Group B alive with a well-fought 1-0 win over Inter Milan on Wednesday night – but fans are not impressed with left-back Ben Davies.
Christian Eriksen’s second-half goal was enough to see Spurs earn all three points on the night, and move into second place behind Barcelona in Group B. But they still have it all to do.
That is because Inter play host to PSV Eindhoven next time out, while Spurs travel to the Nou Camp to take on Lionel Messi and co. The balance is still very much in Inter’s favour.
But Spurs did what they could to keep the pressure on Luciano Spalletti’s side with an important win, as they huffed and puffed and finally broke the Italian side’s defensive line down.
A well-worked goal that saw Moussa Sissoko stride into the box, find Dele Alli, who swivelled and fed Eriksen. The Dane blasted the ball into the net, earning the win.

But Wales defender Davies did not enjoy as pleasant a night on the left side of defence, with his crossing coming into question once again. With Spurs pressing, the ex-Swansea man had the opportunity to find Harry Kane in the box.
However, Davies’ crossing was particularly woeful throughout. Though his defending was strong, it was his effort going forward that frustrated fans – who reacted on Twitter to vent such frustration.
