West Ham United did not feel Sead Haksabanovic was ready for the Premier League and he is now struggling in Spain with Malaga.

In an ideal world, Sead Haksabanovic would have shone on loan at Malaga, helped the club earn promotion back to La Liga, and returned to West Ham with his reputation and experience enhanced.
But the 19-year-old’s best laid plans have gone awry.
Malaga are third in the second tier of Spanish football, just four points behind Alcocorn at the top, but Haksabanovic has not exactly been integral to their promotion challenge.
The once-capped Montenegro international has made just one appearance in the Segunda division, managing 45 minutes off the bench in a 2-0 win against Gimnastic. He has even been left out of the match-day squad for 14 of Malaga’s 15 league games.

According to Diario Sur, Haksabanovic is now considering returning to West Ham in January and cutting his loan spell at La Rosaleda short. The report adds that the midfielder’s departure from Malaga is a distinct possibility.
A £2.7 million signing from Halmstad in 2017 (BBC), Haksabanovic impressed for Manuel Pellegrini’s Hammers in pre-season but appears to be a long way from a role in the Chilean’s first-team plans.
