Tottenham Hotspur take on Inter Milan in a crucial Champions League clash at Wembley Stadium this evening, with Spurs needing to win to keep their hopes alive.

Earlier today though, the two sides pitted their youth teams against each other in the UEFA Youth League, with the game taking place at Hotspur Way.

It didn't go to plan for Spurs though, as Tibo Persyn put Inter in front, and whilst Troy Parrott equalised with a superb strike and then Jack Roles put Tottenham in front just a minute later, that's as good as it got.

Maj Roric drew Inter level in the second half, and a goal each from Davide Merola and Facundo Colidio inside the final 10 minutes handed Inter a thumping 4-2 win.

It was a fairly dismal second half showing from Spurs, and whilst Dilan Markanday and Roles impressed, most fans were raving about striker Parrott after his latest goal.

The 16-year-old, who joined Spurs from Belvedere FC from his native Ireland in 2017, has been a sensation for the Spurs youth team, and now has nine goals and five assists in 15 appearances this season.

Parrott's latest goal – a thumping strike into the top corner of the net – has now seen him earn praise, with fans taking to Twitter to predict a bright future for the teenage striker, noting that he is becoming a 'baller' and 'class'.

Others feel that Spurs need to keep Parrott happy having already seen one striker leave in Reo Griffiths, and believe that he should be around the first team with Harry Kane whilst comparing him to ex-Spurs hitman and fellow Irishman Robbie Keane.
