Rangers take on Villarreal on Thursday night in a crucial Europa League clash.

Dapo Mebude was pictured in Rangers’ first-team training ahead of Thursday night’s clash against Villarreal in the Europa League, as Steven Gerrard continues to prepare his players for a crucial match.
Rangers sit in third place in Group G of the Europa League, with all four teams more than capable of still being able to qualify. Leaders Spartak Moscow are on six, while Villarreal and Rangers are on five. Rapid Vienna are on four.
The Gers will need their twelfth man at full voice if they are to stand any chance of beating La Liga side Villarreal, who will be strong favourites to pick up a win against Gerrard’s side. Rangers drew 2-2 with the Spaniards away from home.
Photos were taken from training on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s match and posted on Rangers’ official Instagram, which included 17-year-old attacker Mebude alongside the club’s first-team stars.
Of the 10 pictures, Mebude is seen in the sixth image. He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Gers, though he has been a regular performer in the club’s second string under Graeme Murty.
The Gers have plenty of wingers to choose from despite injuries to Jamie Murphy and Ryan Kent. Gerrard has Glenn Middleton, Daniel Candeias and Eros Grezda, but he may call on Mebude as back-up.
