The bookies reckon that the Schalke ace could be on his way to Liverpool.
According to sports betting company BETVICTOR, Liverpool have been installed as the new 4/1 favourites in the race to sign FC Schalke midfield ace Weston McKennie in January.
Jürgen Klopp spent heavily during the summer transfer window, so it is unclear as to whether he intends to bolster his ranks at Anfield further still over the next couple of months.
McKennie is a real talent, and would fit right in under Klopp at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old joined Schalke in January 2017, and has gone on to chalk up 41 appearances in all competitions for the senior side.
BETVICTOR have installed Liverpool as 4/1 favourites in the race to sign the American, ahead of Arsenal, Cheslea and Tottenham at 8’s.
Liverpool have a wealth of talent in the central midfield department, so if McKennie was to move to Anfield, he would most likely have to be extremely patient with regards to his hopes of earning regular first-team action.
