Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman thinks Preston North End want Daniel Barlaser.

The Independent have spent time with Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman, and some of the findings may just be of interest to Newcastle United fans.
Coleman has guided Accrington into League One against all odds, and even has his side challenging for the play-offs even after losing two key players over the summer in Aaron Chapman and Kayden Jackson.
One player who has thrived for Accrington is playmaker Daniel Barlaser, who is on loan with the club from Newcastle United until the January transfer window having penned a deal in August.
The 21-year-old midfielder has come up through the Newcastle ranks and had a dismal time on loan at Crewe Alexandra last season, meaning few Newcastle fans have really given much thought to the playmaker.
However, The Independent's time with Coleman – a fine look into life as a Football League boss working on a budget – has showed that Barlaser is highly rated.
The article details that Preston North End advisor Peter Ridsdale walked into the Wham Stadium for Saturday's game against Barnsley, and Coleman immediately believed that he was there to see Barlaser ahead of a potential January move.

Ridsdale was told to keep his hands off Barlaser, with Coleman adding that 'we call him the Turkish Kevin De Bruyne', summing up just how highly Accrington rate the Newcastle youngster – and it was even added that Celtic scout Mick Doherty was also at the game, though it's a little less clear who he was watching.
If Preston do want Barlaser, it would make some sense. The Lilywhites are a club who have recently prioritised signing players in their early 20's from 'bigger' clubs and developing them, whilst a creative midfielder is needed after injuries to Daniel Johnson and Josh Harrop.
Newcastle may look to keep Barlaser though if he is really impressing that much, and Coleman's comments picked up before Barnsley go a long way to showing Newcastle fans how their Turkish youth international is faring out on loan.
