West Ham United have been linked with having a potential interest in Leonardo Koutris, who recently made his international debut.

The left-back position is arguably one where the Irons need to strengthen. Neither Arthur Masuaku or Aaron Cresswell have stamped their authority on the role in recent times.
Manuel Pellegrini would be forgiven for wanting to sign a new option in that role during an upcoming window therefore. And Sportsdog has suggested that Koutris could be a potential option.
According to the report, Husillos is a fan of the 23-year-old, who made his international debut for Greece during the current break, helping the side keep a clean sheet on their way to a 1-0 win over Finland.

The Brazil-born defender has only made three league appearances for his side this season, but has provided one assist. He also made 21 appearances in the top flight last term.
It is not made particularly clear in the report whether Husillos’ admiration for the youngster will tempt West Ham into a future bid. But it will encourage many of the supporters that the club could be looking at strengthening an area where the Hammers surely need to make changes.
