Aston Villa fans were shocked to see Brad Guzan between the sticks for USA at Wembley against England.
Guzan left Villa in 2016 after eight years at the club. Some of that was spent as an understudy and out on loan, before he earned the number one role.
Unfortunately for the American, Guzan's Villa spell is forever tainted by his role in their embarrassing relegation season in 2015/16.
Guzan was later sold to Middlesbrough, before signing with MLS side Atlanta United.
Now 34-years-old, Guzan is still America's number one, having taken over from Tim Howard.
He started off poorly against England last night at Wembley and almost gave away a penalty inside the first 10 minutes.
Guzan could do nothing about Jesse Lingard's impressive opener and was let down by a poor USA defence for England's next two goals, from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Callum Wilson.
The ex-Villa stopper made a crucial save from Wayne Rooney at the end which prevented the substitute from scoring on his last ever game for the Three Lions.
Here is a look at how Villa fans reacted on Twitter to his performance...
‘Looked clumsy from Guzan’ sure I’ve heard that somewhere before #avfc— Olly Freeman (@Olly_Freeman97) November 15, 2018
Nice to see Brad Guzan is still trying to pass it to the other team just like he passed it straight to Aguero at the Etihad when he played for Villa #avfc— Claire (@FloppyChicken92) November 15, 2018
Watching USA is like watching Villa circa 2015/2016. Key Link: Brad Guzan— Nathan Hirst (@nath_hirst) November 15, 2018
