Rangers loanee scored an impressive overhead kick.
Just a couple of weeks ago it appeared Rangers loanee Joe Dodoo's latest loan spell was heading for disappointment.
The Rangers attacker lost his place in the Blackpool side and missed out on facing Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
He has since worked his way back into the team, winning praise for his performance at the weekend against Exeter.
Last night Dodoo scored a goal which surely his employers at Rangers will not be able to miss.
Even though it came in a Checkatrade Trophy match against Accrington, the Rangers forward's goal was a bit special.
Dodoo chested the ball into the air and then fired an overhead kick into the corner of the net, leaving the goalkeeper stranded.
30' - The on-loan Rangers man flicks the ball up inside the area and scores with an over-head kick. (1-1)— Blackpool FC (@BlackpoolFC) November 13, 2018
It was Dodoo's second goal of the game, after he scored in just the second minute.
Dodoo has had a very up and down spell at Blackpool so far.
He now has three goals in his last two games, but before this he only had one goal in eight matches.
Still, this is more of a contribution than Umar Sadiq has made for Rangers so far this season.
Rangers fans noticed Dodoo's contribution and reacted on social media to his spectacular goal...
Joe Dodoo. Tall, quick, strong, skilful, can finish. Everything we thought Sadiq would be. Big man is starting to bang them in for Blackpool. Could do a lot worse than punt Sadiq in January and bring him back. Plus he has an average size head.— Jamie Hunter (@jamiehunter72) November 13, 2018
Joe dodoo on the score sheet twice for Blackpool the night, what a player— Stu (@boag22) November 13, 2018

He's been watching Super Ally vids on YouTube me thinks! ⚪
Personally I think we should play Carlos Pena in the No.10 with Joe Dodoo up front after we recall him in January.— Gabriel Omar Amato (@MaTo_122) November 13, 2018
keep forgetting we’ve still got Joe Dodoo— Callum (@__CallumS) November 13, 2018
It would appear there's been a mix up, Rangers have actually sent Umar Sadiq and not Joe Dodoo on loan to yourselves, I'm confident this can be corrected soon and sort this mess out— Stuart Smith (@stuart723) November 13, 2018
