Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Boca Juniors ace Wilmar Barrios in recent times.

Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on Saturday evening, with Argentinian defender Juan Foyth bagging his first Premier League goal to claim the victory.
On Sunday, Foyth – alongside other Argentinians at Spurs such as Paulo Gazzaniga, Erik Lamela and boss Mauricio Pochettino – may have been just as interested in the Superclasico over in Argentina.
Great rivals Boca Juniors and River Plate have never met in the final of the Copa Libertadores, South America’s answer to the Champions League…until now.
Boca saw off Palmeiras whilst River beat Gremio to set up an historic final, with the first leg taking place on Sunday, 24 hours after it was supposed to take place, with a delay caused due to rain.
Many couldn’t wait to see the game take place, with Boca hosting the first leg at their La Bombonera home, and Ramon Abila gave the hosts a first-half lead – only for Lucas Pratto to hit back with an instant equaliser.
Dario Benedetto put Boca back in front, but Carlos Izquierdo’s own goal meant the game ended in a 2-2 draw, and tees up the second leg at River’s El Monumental stadium later this month.

Spurs fans were particularly interested in the game, as El Crack Deportivo reported last month that Tottenham were teeing up a £20million deal for Boca midfielder Wilmar Barrios, who has impressed since signing for Boca.
The combative midfielder really caught the eye on Sunday, with Spurs fans hugely impressed with the Colombian, believing he can replace Victor Wanyama in the Spurs midfield, urging the club to snap him up as he is a ‘beast’ and was ‘unreal’ against River on Sunday as he stepped up in a big game.
