Leeds United are back in action this evening as they travel to The Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion in an important clash.

The Whites returned to the top of the Championship table last week with a 2-1 win at Wigan Athletic, and can pull three points clear of second-placed Sheffield United with a win tonight after their draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.

Marcelo Bielsa's men have lost just twice in the Championship this season, with no team losing fewer games, and they remain a strong shout for promotion to the Premier League.

Conversely, West Bromwich Albion have really faltered in recent weeks, losing at Hull City last weekend to make it just one point in their last four outings.

Darren Moore is beginning to feel a little bit of pressure, as his side have slipped out of the play-off place off the back of their poor form, with many expecting more of the Baggies.

The game will also see a couple of players return to face West Brom, as Tyler Roberts will be making a first trip back to The Hawthorns, whilst fellow Leeds attacker Kemar Roofe will also be in action.

Kemar Roofe of Leeds United looks on during the Sky Bet Championship between Leeds United and Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on October 27, 2018 in Leeds, England.

Roofe came up through the West Brom ranks before leaving for Oxford United in 2015, where his outstanding form handed him a move to Leeds United just a year later.

Now a key part of Bielsa's side with seven goals in 10 games this season, Roofe has starred - and has taken to Instagram ahead of tonight's game to state that he 'can't wait' as he bids to haunt his former club.
