West Ham United fans react to Declan Rice contract situation

Declan Rice is a player reportedly in demand, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund claimed to be interested in the West Ham United youngster.

Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, is out of contract at West Ham in the summer of 2019, according to Transfermarkt.com.

The youngster is earning £3000 per week as salary at the moment, according to The Times, with West Ham reported to be ready to pay him £21,000 per week.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the 19-year-old, while German club Borussia Dortmund are claimed to have the West Ham youngster on their radar.

Rice has told The Times that he wants to sign a new contract with West Ham and wants to carry on playing for the London club.

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the current situation on Rice, who has played 676 minutes of Premier League football for the Hammers so far this season, according to WhoScored.com.
