Norwich City manager Daniel Farke says Marco Stiepermann and Todd Cantwell are back in contention to feature with the latter missing the 4-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday with injury, Eastern Daily Press report.

“Yes, Todd [Cantwell] is fine. He has trained with us but because he was out for two-and-a-half weeks maybe not an option for the starting line up. He is available for Millwall. Marco Stiepermann has trained all week after his tonsillitis and Jordan is available,” Farke told reporters.

Norwich head in to the clash with Millwall currently lying in second spot in the Championship, joint on points with leaders Leeds United after winning eight of their past ten league matches.

The Canaries are flying and turned over Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 at Hillsborough last week – their biggest win of the season after previously winning numerous games by just the odd goal.

Against Millwall, however, supporters feared Norwich would struggle to get their better players out after it emerged both Timm Klose and Mario Vranic were struggling with fitness.

But Farke believes they could also feature against Millwall, adding of Vranic: “Mario had some problems with his calf. Understandable after playing two games in four days with a lot of load after several weeks with no game. He has been able to train in the last few days.”

Injuries often put a halt to momentum therefore Norwich will be desperate to keep their core match-day squad fit, especially considering the incredible run of form they are on.

Cantwell, Stiepermann and defender Klose in particular have been key players for Norwich so far this season, with the latter managing to score three goals and grab an assist in his last six league games for the club.
