Ajax travelled to take on Benfica on Wednesday night.
Manchester United's clash with Juventus may have dominated the Champions League discussion on Wednesday night, but English clubs were looking elsewhere.
It has been another dramatic week of Champions League action, with the groups taking shape as Matchday 4 is now in the books.
At the Estadio da Luz, Benfica hosted Ajax, with the two legendary sides facing off just weeks after Ajax had beaten Benfica 1-0 in Amsterdam.
The game saw Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana suffer nightmare first half, coming for a long throw before getting nowhere near the ball, allowing Jonas to smash home.
Onana's blushes were spared though when Dusan Tadic scrambled home an equaliser, and Onana then became a hero late on, producing a superb save in the dying seconds to earn his side a point.
Tottenham have been linked with a whole host of Ajax stars; Onana, Matthijs de Ligt, Donny van de Beek, Frenkie de Jong and David Neres have all been touted as Spurs targets, and all five players were in action on Wednesday.
It's a little harder to figure out who Leeds could have been watching, as whilst they are flourishing under Marcelo Bielsa, landing a player from major Champions League clubs seems unlikely right now.
Arsenal, Newcastle United, Southampton, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers were among the other clubs in attendance, with players on both sides potentially attracting interest.
