Everton are doing well in the Premier League at the moment.

Moshiri has underlined the importance of Everton manager Marco Silva making use of the players he has already got, including youngsters such as Ademola Lookman.
Moshiri said on the Jim White show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (11:25am, November 9, 2018) when asked for his January transfer plans: “We bought a lot of players. I think we will do well to bed in the players we have got. We have a £30 million player who hasn’t played yet.”
“We have some really good players like Ademola Lookman who is not getting game time,” added Moshiri. “We really want to look after our young talent, and not just spend money and deprive them of a good career.”

Good strategy?
Everton have signed a lot of players and invested heavily in the squad in recent seasons, and it would make sense for the Toffees not to go all out again in the January transfer window.
The Toffees are doing well at the moment, and as Moshiri suggests, manager Silva does have enough players at his disposal.
Richarlison, Bernard, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes were among the players to have been signed by the Toffees in the summer transfer window.
Everton are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 11 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
The Toffees will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
