Dapo Mebude has shown his gratitude after being included in the Rangers party that travelled to Russia this week.

The Rangers academy product was pictured training with Steven Gerrard's first team, sparking speculation he could be involved against Spartak Moscow - a game that ended in a 4-3 defeat for the Gers.

Mebude, however, failed to make the Rangers matchday 18, and instead turned out in the youth team's fixture against the same opposition earlier in the day.

But posting on Instagram afterwards, the 17-year-old declared that he was "grateful for the opportunity".
