Cresswell - who earns £50,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com, and joined West Ham in the summer of 2014 when Sam Allardyce was the manager of the London club - was impressed with Anderson’s performance in the Hammers’ 4-2 victory over Burnley at home in the Premier League last weekend.
The 25-year-old Brazil international attacking midfielder scored twice for Manuel Pellegrini’s side at the London Stadium last weekend.
West Ham left-back Cresswell has been impressed with the Brazilian, and the 28-year-old England international seems to have suggested that the summer signing from Lazio works hard in training.
Cresswell told West Ham’s official website about Anderson: “A lot of people won’t see Felipe Monday to Friday and what he does in training.
“Especially coming from Brazil and coming from a totally different league in Serie A, it definitely takes some time to adapt.
“With the money in the game these days, when you come with a certain price tag, you don’t get that time, but on Saturday he was fantastic, both providing and scoring goals, and hopefully that can continue.”
Anderson, who joined West Ham from Italian club Lazio in the summer transfer window, has scored three goals and provided one assist in 11 Premier League appearances for the Hammers so far this season, according to WhoScored.
West Ham are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from as many matches.
