Leeds are reportedly looking to Greece for a striker.
Leeds United are reportedly looking to the Greek Super League for a striker as they look to strengthen.
Argentine youngster Ezequiel Ponce is on the Whites' radar after scoring five times in nine games for AEK.
Ponce is on loan from Roma and is known to Marcelo Bielsa after a loan at Lille last season.
Yet if Leeds are looking to Greece for a striker, their efforts should be concentrated on Aleksandar Prijovic instead.
Prijovic was linked to Leeds last December with Goal Cyprus reporting Thomas Christiansen wanted to bring him to Elland Road.
Leeds didn't make a move and Prijovic stayed put. In Greece he has continued to score at a prolific rate.
This season he has 11 goals in 17 games for PAOK and unlike Ponce's record, it cannot be viewed as a one off.
Last year he scored 27 goals in 39 games and the previous season he netted 18 times.
Still only 28, if Leeds want to give their promotion challenge a serious boost, renewing interest in Prijovic would be a very smart move.
