West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing the Chelsea midfielder.

West Ham have made an inconsistent start to their Premier League campaign, and Manuel Pellegrini will surely be keen to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium in January.

According to the Express, one player who is attracting attention from West Ham is Chelsea ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek, although Maurizio Sarri is not prepared to sanction the young Englishman's exit from Stamford Bridge.

The Hammers cannot give up on the chance of signing the 22-year-old, however, as he is exactly the type of player they need in the middle of the park.


West Ham have struggled in midfield this season, with ageing legs and underperforming stars proving to be detrimental to their hopes of forcing their way into contention for the Europa League spots.

Although Sarri seems determined to keep hold of the England international, the Hammers have to keep trying to snare him away from Stamford Bridge - it could be the signing that makes all the difference for them this season.
