The Express report that Rangers’ top target is a striker, as Gerrard feels he needs more options up-front.
Rangers have been heavily reliant on Alfredo Morelos for goals this season, and Gerrard is eager to relieve some of the goalscoring burden on the Colombian.

Rangers could also look to strengthen elsewhere, after what has been a demanding start to the season for their squad.
Rangers have made good progress in the Europa League under Gerrard, and currently sit in third place in the Scottish Premiership table.
