Slavisa Jokanovic has chopped and changed his Fulham starting XI constantly this season, and the uncertainty can best be summed up by the confusion over the goalkeeping position.
Fabri, a £5 million signing from Besiktas, started Fulham’s first two games of the Premier League season; defeats against Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. But the Spaniard looked far from convincing and has not featured since, with Jokanovic turning to Marcus Bettinelli then Sergio Rico.
And it seems that Fabri’s time in West London is already coming to an end.
The 30-year-old has been excluded from the match day squad in each of Fulham’s last six Premier League games. And Fotomac reported in October that Fabri regrets moving to the Cottagers in the summer and has his heart set on a return to Besiktas.
Fotomac has now provided an update and reports that Fulham are ready to listen to offers for the out-of-favour shot-stopper.
And Besiktas are expected to make contact with Fulham in the near future to enquire about the possibility of Fabri’s return to Istanbul.
The former Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper could potentially replace Loris Karius between the sticks, with the on-loan Liverpool man being heavily criticised in some quarters for a couple of high-profile mistakes.
