Aston Villa have informed fans on Twitter that November 25's derby clash against Birmingham City is already sold out, just under three weeks before the two sides go head to head - and Gabby Agbonlahor has reacted hilariously on Instagram.
Villa have sold out their allocation of the 42,785 capacity for the Championship clash, which sees new manager Dean Smith do battle in a Midlands derby as Villa boss for the first time since replacing Steve Bruce.
Smith, a boyhood Villa fan, will be looking forward to the clash which immediately comes after the international break. Villa still have the small matter of facing Frank Lampard's Derby County on Saturday afternoon at Pride Park.
Villa icon Agbonlahor, who remains a free agent after leaving Villa at the end of his contract, commented on Instagram after the club told fans of the sell-out. He suggested that he may have to watch the game from the Birmingham end.
The club's official Instagram account replied, cheekily telling Agbonlahor "not to wind Birmingham fans up... again" after the former England international scored the winner in a 1-0 win over the Blues in April 2017.
Agbonlahor, 32, clocked up 391 appearances for Villa in all competitions since being handed his debut by David O'Leary back in 2006 in the Premier League. He scored 86 times, and created another 57 goals.
He is yet to find a new club, though, stating that he does not want to join another English club in honour of Villa. Currently in 14th place, Villa will be looking for a win over Derby to go into the derby clash with some momentum.
