Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be keen to snap up Kemar Roofe in January.

According to the Sunday Mirror (04/11, page 66), Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in Kemar Roofe, but there must be question marks over whether he is good enough for them.

Wolves are said to be keen to snap up the Leeds United front man, who has been in impressive form this season.

Roofe has hit six goals in nine games for Leeds, and currently sits on top of the Whites’ scoring charts.

But Roofe’s form this season has been his best ever, and Wolves may be jumping in too quickly by snapping him up.

Wolves have big ambitions for the upcoming years, with Nuno’s side determined to break into the upper echelons of the Premier League table.

To do so Nuno’s men are likely to need to snap up a striker, but there must be questions over whether Roofe is that man.

Wolves do need a clinical finisher, but Roofe just hasn’t proven for a sustained period of time that he is ready to make the step up to be a leading man in the Premier League yet.

And Wolves would be wise to look elsewhere rather than chase after Roofe in January.
