The Senegalese midfielder has played in all 11 Premier League matches for Newcastle so far this season.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Diame - who earns £45,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com - made 23 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle during the 2017-18 campaign, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
