BBC pundit Danny Murphy raved about Wolves ace Morgan Gibbs-White when speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day programme last night, labelling the youngster’s 30 minute cameo against Tottenham yesterday as ‘sensational’.

The 18-year-old began his career with the Black Country outfit, coming through the youth ranks at Molineux, and he has gone on to make 30 senior appearances for the club.

Gibbs-White is a central midfielder by trade, and he plays with a certain kind of quality and composure that defies his tender years.

And Murphy is a big fan of the Wolves ace.

The BBC pundit raved about the teenager, when speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day programme last night, listing a whole host of superlatives to describe the Wolves star’s performance against Spurs:

“It’s very rare you see someone at this age and say wow. His vision and the effect he had in such a short space of time was brilliant. His ability to run with the ball was amazing and I think he is exactly the type of player we’re crying out for. We’ve got some great talent coming through, but it’s not always that… Have they got the mentality you need and Gibbs-White… that pass, not many players would have the vision. It’s not just about the execution but being able to see the pass. When Wolves brought him on they had better energy and his ability to look up and see that killer pass… he was sensational.”

Next up for Wolves is a trip to Arsenal on Sunday, and Gibbs-White will be hoping for another chance to impress his manager against the Gunners.
