HITC Sport understands Sunderland starlet Bali Mumba has agreed a professional deal at the club.

Sunderland midfielder Bali Mumba has agreed his first professional contract at the Stadium of Light, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Mumba is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in the country after making his debut for Sunderland at the age of 16.
The all-action midfielder became Sunderland’s youngest ever captain when he came off the bench against Wolves at the end of last season.
Mumba featured in Sunderland’s first three games of the season in League One and he has been on the bench for seven more games.

Sunderland have high hopes for Mumba and he is a key member of Jack Ross’ side as they look to try and win promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
A number of Premier League clubs have been tracking Mumba’s progress, but Sunderland have been determined to tie down their prize asset to a professional contract.
News of Mumba’s deal will come as a massive boost to everyone connected to Sunderland as they look to keep hold of their best young talent.
