Leeds United made moves to sign Jack Marriott, but failed to get the deal over the line.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that Leeds United made a verbal bid for Jack Marriott in January.
Leeds were ahead of the pack when they identified Marriott as a potential signing for them, but they failed to get a deal over the line.
Leeds had spotted Marriott midway through last season, after a blistering first six months with Posh.
But, despite making a verbal offer, they never took any further steps to get a deal over the line.
Leeds may be regretting failing to tie down the striker now, as he has been in wonderful form since moving to Derby County for £5 million (Daily Mail).
Marriott has four goals in his last five games, and he has struck against both Manchester United and Chelsea.
Leeds, meanwhile, do have good options going forward – but Marriott could have made their attack even more of a threat than it has proven to be this season.
