Villa play host to Bolton in the Championship on Friday night.

Dean Smith has been quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying that Aston Villa could have suffered a major injury blow ahead of Friday’s clash against Bolton Wanderers.
The former Brentford manager has struggled since moving to Villa Park earlier this month, beating Swansea City in his first match before losing to Norwich City and QPR.
Albert Adomah suffered an injury against Norwich City last week, and failed to return for the QPR game and it remains to be seen if he will be fit for Friday’s clash against Bolton.
However, Smith revealed another injury issue that could see midfielder Birkir Bjarnason miss the Bolton game – a match that Villa will be expecting to win especially after Bolton lost to Hull on Saturday.
“Tonight BB has felt his groin and would have normally gone and pressed the lad who put him through,” Smith said. “We just couldn’t get close to him.”

£2m-rated Bjarnason, 30, was benched for the loss to Norwich but returned to the side to face QPR, who earned all three points at Loftus Road thanks to Pawel Wszolek’s first-half strike.
Villa currently sit in 17th place in the Championship but could jump up to 13th place with a win, overtaking the likes of Stoke City, Wigan Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford.
