In comments reported by the Express and Star, Conor Coady has labelled Harry Kane sensational but warned that he is not the only Spurs star that Wolves need to worry about when they meet in the Premier League this weekend.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men go into Saturday’s clash looking to bounce back from two consecutive defeats which leaves them 10th in the table. They could move to within three points of Spurs with a victory at Molineux.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side saw their run of four straight wins come to an end at the hands of Manchester City on Monday night. But they certainly had the chances to take a share of the points.

A key battle in the game is likely to be between Coady and Kane, with the Spurs talisman already scoring five league goals this season, while Wolves have only conceded nine goals in their opening 10 fixtures.

And ahead of the clash, Coady has lauded the Tottenham striker, but added that stopping Kane is not the only tough task facing Wolves at the weekend.

“He’s a fantastic footballer, what he’s done for Tottenham and England, he’s sensational,” Coady said, as reported by the Express and Star.

“I don’t think it’s only him! They’ve got some pretty good footballers behind him as well. We need to be ready for it. We don’t just look at one player.”

Coady has been one of the players who has been touted for a potential England call-up in the future, and stopping Kane on Saturday could be a fantastic way for the Wolves captain to prove a point to Gareth Southgate.
