Rangers suffered arguably their most frustrating defeat of Gerrard’s time in charge so far against Aberdeen on Sunday.
The Light Blues were knocked out of the Scottish League Cup at the semi-final stage, much to the disappointment of everyone around Ibrox.
But Worrall insists that Gerrard was quick to pick the Rangers players up at full-time.
The centre-back said: “The gaffer just said we need to focus on the positives we have had over the last couple of weeks, and to make sure we make it right on Wednesday.
“We have the game which is good because it would have been a week where we’d have had to keep our heads down.
“Now we can look forward to Kilmarnock and trying to get the victory.”
Rangers had their chances against Aberdeen, but they ultimately were undone late on.
Lewis Ferguson scored for The Dons and sent the Rangers fans home from Hampden Park disappointed.
Rangers have a chance to bounce back from defeat tomorrow, when they take on Kilmarnock tomorrow evening.
