The 23-year-old has starred for Kilmarnock under Steve Clarke in the top tier of Scottish football, making six league appearances for Killie and even scoring in the most recent win over St. Mirren.
Tshibola, a £5.5million signing from Reading in the summer of 2016 under Roberto Di Matteo, would have played more for Killie but only moved to Rugby Park towards the end of the window.
The former Royals midfielder, who played under Clarke at the Madjeski Stadium, stated that he is hoping new Villa boss Dean Smith is watching him and is open to the possibility of a recall in January.
“I feel I’m playing well. The new manager is in and hopefully the club are watching my games," Tshibola said. "“I know I’ve got a clause in January if they want me to come back.”
Tshibola struggled at Villa following his move, managing just 10 appearances before leaving to join Nottingham Forest on loan for the rest of the 2016-17 season.
He then tried his luck at MK Dons during the start of 2017-18 but was recalled in November, before joining Killie in January 2018 where he has since reignited his career north of the border.
He has less than two years remaining on his contract at Villa.
