Newcastle and Tottenham seem to be preparing for the January transfer window.

Belgian outlet HLN have reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United scouts will be in attendance as Club Brugge play host to French outfit Monaco in the Champions League.
Both Monaco and Club Brugge have both suffered two losses in two Champions League outings this season, with Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid both sitting on six points in first and second.
Spurs failed to make a single signing in the summer, but have already been linked with plenty of players around Europe ahead of the January transfer window. Newcastle, meanwhile, brought in more from sales more than they spent.
But they are just two clubs of 42 sides that will be represented by scouts on Wednesday evening, as the Ligue 1 side go up against last season’s Belgium champions.

Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan are the most high-profile clubs expected to be watching Brugge and Monaco’s stars at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Tottenham, Marseille, Valencia, Sevilla, AS Roma, Lyon, Newcastle and Ajax are also watching the game, with Spurs likely to be watching players from Monaco while Newcastle’s budget restrictions may limit them to Brugge players.
